Sometimes, pictures convey more than words can. And as much as I like to share stories, it’s nice to let pictures do the talking from time to time. My Photo Feature series will highlight groups of images from a specific destination. To kick it off, here’s a collection from my time spent on Koh Yao Noi in Thailand’s Phang Nga Bay. See more Photo Features here.
Koh Yao Noi translates to “little long island” and can be found right next to Koh Yao Yai (“big long island”). Located between Krabi and Phuket, Koh Yao Noi is one of the less developed islands in the area, although it is slightly more developed than Koh Yao Yai. If you’re visiting southern Thailand and looking for something a little further off the beaten path, Koh Yao Noi is a great option. While there are plenty of restaurants, shops and great lodging options, it’s much quieter than some of the area’s more popular go-tos, like Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.
